Surah 2:83: "We made a covenant with the children of Israel: You shall not worship except Allah. You shall honor
your parents and regard the relatives, the orphans, and the poor. You shall treat the people amicably. You shall
observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat)." But you turned away, except a few of you,
and you became averse."
Sura 2:84-85: "We made a covenant with you that you shall not shed your blood, nor shall you evict each other from your
homes. You agreed and bore witness. Yet here you are killing each other and evicting some of you from their homes.
Even when they surrendered, you demanded ransom from them. Evicting them was prohibited for you in the first place.
Do you believe in part of the scripture and disbelieve in part? What should be the retribution for those among you who
do nothing except humiliation in this life, and a far worse retribution on the Day of Resurrection? Allah is never unaware
of anything you do.
Sura 2: 170-171: "When they are told, 'Follow what God has revealed herein,' they say, 'We follow what we found our parents
doing.' What if their parents did not understand and were not guided? The example of such disbelievers is that
of parrots who repeat what they hear of sounds and calls, without understanding. Deaf, dumb, and blind, they cannot
understand."
Sura 2:177: "Righteousness is not turning your faces towards the east or the west. Righteous are those who believe
in God, the Last Day, the angels, the scriptures, and the prophets; and they give the money, cheerfully, to the relatives,
the orphans, the needy, the traveling alien, the beggars, and to free the slaves, and they observe the Contact Prayers (Salat)
and give the obligatory charity (Zakat); and they keep their word whenever they make a promise; and they steadfastly persevere
in the face of persecution, hardship, and war. These are the truthful; these are the righteous."
Sura 2:275-276 - "Those who charge usury are in the same position as those controlled by the devil's influence.
This is because they claim that usury is the same as commerce. However, Allah permits commerce, and prohibits usury.
Thus, whoever heeds this commandment from his Lord and refrains from usury, he may keep his past earnings, and his judgment
rests with Allah. As for those who persist in usury, they incur Hell, wherein the yabide forever. Allah condemns
usury and blesses charities. Allah dislikes every disbeliever, guilty.
Sura 2:278: "O you who believe, you shall observe Allah and refrain from all kinds of usury, if you are believers."
Sura 4:40 - "And serve Allah and do not associate aught with Him; and to your parents show kindness, and to kindred and
orphans, and the poor and the neighbor who has a kin, and the neighbor who is a stranger, and the companion who is strange,
and the son of the road, and what your right hands possess. verily, Allah loves not him who is proud and boastful.
Sura 4:75: " Why should you not fight in the cause of Allah when weak men, women, and children are imploring: "Our Lord,
deliver us from this community whose people are oppressive, and be You our Lord and Master."
Sura 102:1-8: "You remain preoccupied with hoarding until you go to the graves. Indeed, you will find out.
Most assuredly, you will find out. If only you could find out for certain. You would envision hell. Then
you would see it with the eye of certainty. Then, you will be questioned on the day, about the blessings you had enjoyed."
